Teaching Staff Application Form

Our curriculum

Curriculum is at the heart of our school’s excellent offer to its staff and students.  Our curriculum is both academic and life enriching.  We do not see that these two aims are distinct; rather we treat the curriculum as the tool for educating and developing the whole child.  We are looking for a person of excellent integrity to join the curriculum team and work with the current deputy headteacher.

In the past year we have revamped the entire curriculum to ensure excellent continuity, progression and enrichment from Year 7 to 13. The successful candidate will lead on ensuring that this curriculum is of the highest order and uses sophisticated means of implementation and assessment.

The Middlesex Learning Partnership

Barnhill Community High School is part of the Middlesex Learning Partnership, an ambitious cross-phase Multi-Academy Trust. We are ambitious for the students of Hillingdon, ambitious for their futures, ambitious for their achievements and ambitious for their personal development. Students are at the heart of everything we do, and as such we are driven to achieve ever higher standards.

In line with the ethos of the best schools in the country, we are always trying harder, pushing the boundaries of learning and encouraging both students and staff to strive to reach their full potential. We believe in the transformative power of education to Build Brighter Futures and aim to foster within our communities a lifelong thirst for learning and improvement, so vital in a rapidly changing world. Our mission is to ensure that students recognise the importance of learning and are equipped to flourish in the world of the future and that staff are proud of the priceless contributions they make to student’s lives.

We are now looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Deputy Head Teacher to lead the school into the next stage of its journey and raise achievement within the national frameworks.

We believe in the power of learning to transform the lives of children and young people and to prepare them well for their futures.  We believe that all have great talents and potential, and that we need to provide an outstanding experience so that this can be realised.  We are also committed to the broader community.  Our Trust sits at the heart of the local area, and has a vital role to play as a centre for education, well-being and community cohesion.

Our staff benefit from a well-being scheme, golden ticket day, free flu jab, cycle scheme and on-site gym facilities.

To apply for this post  email a letter of application and completed application form to Sue Presence Trust HR Manager

Closing date: end of the day Sunday 21st February 2021.  The School reserves the right to appoint an outstanding applicant prior to this deadline.

Barnhill Community High is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
