Parents Information Evenings

Collaboration between school, students and parents is key to achieving success for all at Barnhill.  Parent information evenings are held at Barnhill School in the beginning of the Autumn term to communicate key academic and pastoral information for the specific year group.

There is a presentation led by the Raising Achievement Leaders on the whole curriculum and how we report on your child’s progress, followed by a brief presentation from the head of English, Maths and Science. They give insight into their curriculum areas and where to find the resources for their subject areas to support students to achieve their potential. Our Heads of Year also join the presentation to share the expectations we have from students, parents and the teachers.

This is a great opportunity for all parents to attend and meet key staff who will be working with their children and understand how they can further support the educational journey to achieve success and move into the real world as well rounded, responsible global citizens.
