Hillingdon Health Watch Programme

Mental Health Campagin

Year 12 students (Majority Health and Social Care) took part in a 12 week Health Watch programme run by Kim Markam from  Hillingdon Health Watch. The programme was funded by the National Lottery and Barnhill was the first school to receive this programme.   During the 12 weeks the students did campaign promoting awareness of Mental Health in Young people. They did assemblies to all year group, set up a survey and did a presentation to the Stake Holders in Hillingdon Borough on the findings. They will also do a presentation to the Board of Governors and have also invited to be a Guest Panel at the Hillingdon Mental Awareness Forum.  Picture shows students received their certificates at the end of the programme.
