GCSE Results 2023

Barnhill students celebrate another year of fantastic results!

Students, family members and staff collected their examination results at the school today.  There was a great deal to celebrate.

28% of all grades are 7, 8 and 9 (A to A**).  65% of all grades are higher than Grade 5.

One in three grades in maths and science was a 7 and higher.

Head teacher, Mr Jones said; “This has been a very special day for the students, families and staff at Barnhill.  Despite the national trend falling back to levels before Covid, Barnhill’s results have remained higher even than those during Covid.

It is a wonderful time to see the students celebrate knowing that they have forged great futures for themselves.

We are proud of all students, many of whom have overcome great challenges to become successful.  I would like to share the results of some of the students who achieved the highest grades.”
