A-Level Results 2023

Barnhill students celebrate superb A Level results again!

Barnhill students celebrated a very special day on results day, as the nerves turned to excitement and reflection.  All the hard work and guidance from staff and families has paid off.

Head teacher Mr Jones said; “Barnhill has bucked the national trend.  Although results have fallen significantly across the country; those at Barnhill have remained as strong as last year.  This means that many, many students will now be progressing to wonderful new opportunities.”

Mr Jones went on to say, ‘while we are very proud of all our students’ achievements, I would like to share some chosen successes below:

Excellence in Medical Science

We’ve reached new heights at Barnhill in terms of the number of medical students accepted in one year. So far we have 7 confirmed going to medical school and 1 accepted for dentistry. Half of these students will be attending Russell Group universities where entry requirements are extremely rigorous.

Huge congratulations to Ohana, Hira and Jannah from 2023 and Asma, Akshaniah, Akksitha, Faduma and Alesha who took a gap year after successfully completing their ‘A’ levels in 2022 and will take up their university placements this year.
