Y12 'The Great Debate'
On Wednesday 28 March 16 Year 12 students from Humanities took part in ‘The Great Debate’ with Mr Lobatto as the chair.
The house was debating; ‘Migration has socially, culturally and economically enhanced Britain as a nation.’ I would like to congratulate the students on their excellent contributions to the debate. My colleagues and I were greatly impressed by their research into the topic, respect of other peers’ opinions and their ability to speak publicly. I sincerely hope that the Year 12 students continue developing this skill throughout their school and university careers. The result of the first Great Debate was a draw, well done to all!
