BTEC Public Services is a vocational course that focuses on the uniformed public services such as the police, armed forces and the fire service, and a range of topics such as Law, Psychology, Sociology, PE and Outdoor Education. It is useful both in terms of moving on to Higher Education or employment, with increasing opportunities existing within the public services.

Teaching and Learning Styles

A variety of activities will be used to reflect the structure of the units and to enable you to get a real feel for the public services. These will include discussions, presentations, school trips and guest speakers.

Recent school trips have included visiting the Houses of Parliament and The Central Criminal Court of United Kingdom, The Old Bailey.
